For this job, we installed a 100mm strip drain, carefully cut in with precision to provide effective surface-water drainage while keeping the finished result neat and professional.

A sand and cement bedding base was also installed to ensure the strip drain stays securely in position and performs properly for years to come.

We also maintained termite protection around the installation to help keep the home protected while completing the drainage works.

💧 PUMP OUT LINE — JUST A MAN AND HIS SHOVEL 💪

Not every backyard has the luxury of having stormwater drainage available at the street level.

In this case, the backyard was lower than the street outlet, with no existing provision for stormwater to discharge. So we installed a dedicated pump out system to keep the surface water moving where it needs to go.

All surface water drainage runs into a collection pit, fitted with a pump, one-way/non-return valve and union connection. The union allows the pump to be easily disconnected for future servicing and maintenance — making sure the system is practical as well as reliable.

And this one was a massive hand dig! 😅

No excavator. No shortcuts.

Just a man and his shovel. 🦾🪓

I genuinely enjoy the hard work, especially when you can stand back at the end of the job and know you've built something that is going to make a real difference for the client.

🚧 JOB 2 — COOLAMON, NSW 🚧

A few days away from home, and this one was definitely a little different from the usual plumbing work!

The client wanted to create more usable space in her backyard. The existing pool was slowly leaking, becoming an ongoing problem, and taking up a huge amount of space that simply wasn’t being used.
She wanted the pool filled in, but after being quoted a ridiculous amount, we looked at another way to make it happen without breaking the bank.

With the help of some awesome locals supplying dirt, and her family putting their trucks to work, we were able to get the job done and give her the backyard she actually wanted and needed. 👌

Now, I know this isn't exactly plumbing… 😂

But I’ve always believed that when you have the skills to help someone, you should.

For me, it’s not always about the job being plumbing. It’s about finding a solution, helping people out and leaving them better off than when you arrived.

We re-piped the hot water system in copper and installed a tempering valve to regulate the temperature — giving the home a controlled, comfortable hot water temperature. 🚿👌

This project involved decommissioning an water tank to make way for a new fence, creating a safer space for the kids to play.

My job was to redesign and install the new pipework so everything worked seamlessly with the new layout.
