From foundation to finish, this waterfront masterpiece captures everything we love about building bespoke homes — the steep, difficult block gave us the kind of challenge we thrive on. Spanning 3 levels with a private elevator, this contemporary 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom home was designed for family life and effortless entertaining — with a sprawling open-plan kitchen, living and dining space capturing spectacular, elevated views over Middle Harbour. Every detail has been considered, from the Mafi engineered Oak flooring with hydronic in-floor heating, to Dynalight lighting control and full smart home integration, VRV air conditioning throughout, a dedicated home office, oversized laundry, and even a boatshed for the ultimate waterside lifestyle. Finished with native garden landscaping that ties the whole build back to its stunning setting.

Winner of the Master Builders Award for House Restorations & Additions.

A Victorian villa, restored with care and extended with intent.

Originally constructed in 1878, this project centred on the authentic restoration of significant heritage fabric alongside a series of considered new additions.

The existing principal staircase was extended using traditional stair-building methods. A new grand curved external staircase crowned by a sweeping stainless steel balustrade — each component designed and fabricated to exacting tolerances made possible through detailed 3D laser scanning.

Traditional craftsmanship informed many decisions: French polishing returned existing joinery to its original richness, and lead roofing was installed using methods true to the period. New ornate stained glass leadlight windows were commissioned in designs that spoke personally to the owners.

Precision stonework was carefully templated on site and fabricated off site, ensuring every piece met the exacting standards of quality and fit the heritage setting demands.

Original materials were retained and reused throughout, preserving the building's authenticity from the inside out.
