Dial-A-Electrician has received a couple of requests this week for switchboard locks.
A couple of incidents where the main switch in the switchboard had been turned off!
This could be for a couple of reasons, turn off CCTV security cameras if mains powered, check if residents are away etc.
Install an approved Energex lock to secure your switchboard.

Rather than “just repair” the damage, Dial-A-Electrician contacted Flame Security International to source a suitable product to reduce the likelihood and cost of future damage from a similar grass fire.
FSI in a partnership with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) developed a paint that has the world’s highest BAL fire-retardant rating.
The BAL (or Bushfire Attack Level) system rates the likelihood of ember attack, radiant heat and direct flame contact in a built structure and the potential for damage.
A BAL-40 rating certifies that a product can deter ignition, burning and flaming likely to result from windborne embers and debris, exposure to flames, and high heat flux.
A coating has been applied by Dial-A-Electrician to reduce the damage should a grass fire occur.

After looking at what was currently available & trying a variety of lighting alternatives, we came up with an alternate solution to standard garden lighting.
We installed Low Voltage 12VDC automotive flood lights and it turned out perfect 👍
