It has been well publicised guys, but just another reminder that water restrictions change on Monday.

Tamworth, Moonbi and Kootingal will all move to Level 1 Water Restrictions as of Monday 14 January which means:

💧 Sprinklers, sprays, microjet sprays and fixed hoses are allowed for two hours only per day, 5pm to 7pm EST or 6pm to 8pm Daylight Saving Time.
💧 Hand-held hoses can be used between 4pm to 9am EST or 6pm and 8am Daylight Saving Time.
💧 No washdown of hard surfaces unless using a high-pressure cleaner.
💧 Vehicles can be washed any time if using a high-pressure cleaner.
💧 Recycled, greywater and rainwater can be used only from tanks not connected to the treated supply – rainwater tanks must be stand-alone and not able to be switched to the treated supply.
💧 Pools can be filled and topped up.

The change to Level 1 is due to Chaffey Dam levels dropping to under 40% - to find out more about water conservation and Council’s Drought Management Plan click here: https://bit.ly/2r0Vaa5

Hi everyone. Council has had an issue with the water treatment plant (pump failure). As a result we are level 3 restrictions now.
No sprinklers at all.
15 mins handheld hose in 2 hr window only.

Council has immediately ratcheted up restrictions

Just a quick reminder that daylight saving kicks in today in NEW. So, if you haven't already, make sure you put your clocks and watches forward an hour.

I did my first NBN connection this week for a customer and felt that it could be time to just make a few points to allay any fears/confusion people may have.
1. Your existing telephone will work with NBN.
2. In many cases your existing modem will also work. Look to see if it has a "DSL" port and a phone port.
3. The last houses are expected to be connected in February 2018. This means that "regular" phones won't be turned off until lat 2019.
4. Most people will be able to connect their own NBN and won't require outside help.
5. Your telco will be in touch via mail or email - whatever your preferred contact method is, well before the cutoff date to "swap you over".
6. The danger..... If you have multiple phone points only one will work after the swap. You will need to use a cordless phone setup after NBN if you want multiple handsets or get a licensed cabler to redo some of your wiring. Existing cordless phone systems will still work.

I am not a licensed cabler or installer so cannot do any wiring work.

If you have any questions talk to your provider or if you contact me I should be able to help.

Hi everyone. There has been some confusion with the recent changes to water restrictions and daylight savings.

Current rules are:

Hand held hoses between 5 and 7 pm for watering and car washing
Pressure washing of hard surfaces, only between 5 and 7. No hosing at any time.
Bucket wash cars at any time.
