This one in Banksia Grove is extra special… it’s my 1,000th clean-up! 🎉

And fittingly, it turned into a rescue job. 😬

A previous failed attempt left concrete slurry across the backyard, front yard, and even the street.

🚨 WHEN A POST-CONCRETE POOL CLEAN-UP GOES VERY WRONG… 🚨

PETE TO THE RESCUE

This was a hard one to see. 😳

The owners came home after having their post-concrete pool clean-up attempted by another pool tech… and what they found was absolute chaos.

❌ Concrete slurry across the road
❌ Slurry spilled onto neighbouring driveways
❌ Poured across their front lawn and gardens
❌ Mess all down the side of the house
❌ A hole left in the ground
❌ Slurry EVERYWHERE
❌ And the massive pool & spa were STILL full of concrete slurry!

And after all that… they were left with a massive invoice for the pleasure. 😬

Unfortunately, post-concrete pool clean-ups are not a job for amateurs. They require the right equipment, planning, experience and knowledge of how to safely remove and dispose of huge amounts of contaminated water and concrete slurry.

📞 Then I got the call.

It was Saturday morning — my day off — but I could immediately sense how stressed and disappointed the owners were.

So I headed over, inspected the entire job, assessed what had gone wrong and put together a professional plan of attack.

With years of experience and 1,000+ post-concrete pool clean-ups under my belt, I knew exactly how I wanted to tackle it.
