Hello Everyone,

Long time no chat. Apologies, I like working more than Facebook. 😁

What a wonderful winter we’ve had here in the valley, although the temps dropped and the snow fell and we skied and rode lots, the electrical work did not stop!

With lots of switchboard upgrades, new connections, power upgrades, home automation set ups and more going on.
It was a busy cold winter here too.

Here are just a few of the works completed making our small community brighter, easier to live in and just a little bit safer.

Hello everyone welcome to another beautiful holiday season in the valley.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all my customers, old and new, for choosing me to do your electrical work in your homes and work places.

Thank you also for all the referrals and return work, it certainly makes my job such a pleasure, even with those pesky spiders🕷 and webs 🕸 in the roof and under the house.

Also lovely meeting all your family and pets along the way too, some even joined me under the house. 🤣

More and more I see Switchboards like these in older style homes that are being rented out or used as short term stay accommodation.

Back at the end of March 2023 the law changed making it a requirement for all properties with new rental agreements to have the electrical safety rental minimum standard of a modern style switchboard with circuit breakers and electrical safety switches installed.

Not only does this requirement ensure the safety of your tenants in your home it also prevents the likelihood of electrical fault causing a fire or worse killing someone.

Electricity is one of the things you can’t see and can kill you.

Don’t take the risk of your livelihood and your investment by not upgrading your switchboard today.

Welcome to winter everyone. ❄️❄️❄️❄️
I’ve been finding myself attending a few Hot Water Services as of late. Seems they like to give up at just the right, or wrong 🤪, time. I now carry elements and thermostats in stock so you won’t be left out in the cold, and should the need arise I’m around and available on short notice most of the time.

More switchboard upgrades happening too. ⚡️⚡️⚡️This time this one up at a Falls creek apartment, a great upgrade that is not only a lot safer but much more pleasant on the eyes now too.

Recent kitchen upgrade to a new induction cooktop.
This one wasn’t as simple as the owner first thought being a conversion from gas with an electric igniter to all electric induction.
I had to advise once on site that it wasn’t just a simple swap over and plug in using the existing 10A outlet under the bench.
It required a much larger 32A dedicated circuit wired directly from the switchboard via the new isolation switch installed on the tiled splash back.

Hello, well the year has flown past and we’re a short few days untill Christmas.
As we wind down I would like to thank everyone who has been in touch with us for electrical work over these past few months. It’s been wonderful to be able to provide a service to new and old customers alike and I hope we can continue this well in to the future.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, safe holidays and a Happy New Year.

We will be taking a break from 21st December untill the 3rd of January.

Another before and after switchboard upgrade.
I love doing these upgrades because it allows me to proceed with other work on the property knowing I’m safe should any faults be present without my knowledge.

We’ve come a long way since rewireable ceramic fuses. They served their purpose ’back in the day’ but have no place in today’s building and construction industry.

Installed here are Circuit Breaker Safety Switches or RCBO Combos as we call them.
As the name states they combine a circuit breaker to protect the cable and a safety switch to protect you, me, your pets and other friendly animals staying warm in your roof space 😉🤭😆
