Year 9 student Mason has been enjoying his Work Experience with tradesman Jesse from Monin Edwards Plumbing and Gas, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning more about the plumbing industry.💧

Mason is interested in pursuing an apprenticeship in the trade and is making the most of every opportunity to build his skills and knowledge on the worksite. He will also soon begin attending TAFE one day a week as part of his career pathway.

A fantastic example of students exploring future opportunities and career goals. 👏

This is a casual position to start, with the view to full-time employment for the right person.
You will not just be a labourer but an important member of our team that is needed to ensure we deliver a professional service to all our customers.

We have been based on the Tomaree Peninsula in Port Stephens for the past 10 years and are a well-established family run Plumbing, Gas fitting and Drainage business.
We have a small team, under 10 and are looking to bring the right person onboard.

We are offering a FULL TIME position with competitive pay rates.

*Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of plumbing, gas and drainage systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct installations and upgrades as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs.

*Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year’s experience as a Plumber and Gasfitter. (Open to discuss with less experienced applicants)
- Strong knowledge and competency with Hot water units, drainage, backflows, leak locating, renovations and maintenance. (In- house training can be provided)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will work closely with our Admin staff, customers and suppliers.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management and communication skills. (Support given when required)
- Relevant certifications and driver’s license. (Vehicle provided)
- Professional, neat and tidy personal presentation. (Uniforms provided)
