Main span of this elevated deck framed up over 2 days (including ground posts) - 112x112mm balustrade posts in with support blocking - next up we'll tie into a smaller landing to access from the kitchen and add some steps down to the yard, then it's deck boards, handrail and wire balustrade.

All up, including demolishing the old deck this is approximately 2 weeks start to finish for a 8m x 2.4m deck

If you have the space, when building the steps running up to an elevated deck, you can choose a pyramid style which softens the appearance and improves access.

Here we have a bath enclosed by the deck and a swimming pool right along side, so the step design gives our client the choice to descend to the paved area or step down directly into the pool edge to cool off after the hot spa.
