This client wanted to take the front yard of their South Melbourne terrace back to it's roots, keeping within a heritage style.
GenSpec removed the ruined existing porch and outdated rendered brick fence, tiled path and steel veranda support, replacing them with a beautiful new picket fence, sturdy timber post and gorgeous Bluestone paving.
This client has chosen to paint the fence his self and also establish the garden, however we certainly offer all those services as well.

Originally, this backyard was a small space, feeling crowded, dark and tired. The clients buffalo grass struggled to grow with the lack of light and constant foot traffic from the kids and family pet.

They wanted a big area good for entertaining that would also look slick and suit the style of the house.
We recommended a large bluestone paved slab, with matching lawn edging and path, as well as a change of grass variety to a tall fescue.
The original over-sized garden shed was removed and replaced with a new smaller one, as was the clothesline.

The front yard needed a garden edge and some slight re-leveling to make it much easier to maintain.
