π§ Water has to go somewhere... and if it doesn't, problems start.
What looked like a simple stormwater drainage issue turned out to be a missing outlet connection.
After carrying out a CCTV inspection from the street, we confirmed there were no blockages. Instead, we found the channel drain had no adequate outlet pipe, meaning stormwater had nowhere to drain properly.
Here's how we fixed it:
βοΈ Inspected the stormwater system with CCTV.
βοΈ Identified the missing outlet connection.
βοΈ Cut and excavated a section of the driveway.
βοΈ Installed a new outlet drain.
βοΈ Added a riser for a future rainwater tank connection.
βοΈ Backfilled with gravel and reinstated the concrete driveway.
βοΈ Left the site clean and tidy.
Sometimes the issue isn't a blockage, it's the way the system was installed in the first place.
