⚠️ Do you have a tradesperson coming to work in your roof space?
Starting 1 January 2025, new safety rules require your power to be turned off at the main switchboard(s) while a worker is in your roof space.
This means:
⚡ In most cases, workers are prohibited from entering roof spaces unless the power is turned off.
⚡ If YOU need to enter the roof space, make sure to turn off the power first at the main switchboard.
💡 Prepare ahead for a power outage:
• Charge your phones and devices.
• Minimise fridge/freezer use.
• Find temporary storage for frozen food.
• Use battery power for medical equipment, if needed.
