Ryan and I have been busy on a feature sandstone staircase that will tie into a 1.5 metre high wall. The 9 stairs are 3.6 metres wide, 167mm risers and a 335mm tread. These measurements will get us precisely to the height we need. 👍

I’ve not posted for a while.
Been very busy working on a few major projects.
Amongst them is this feature sandstone staircase that is 3.8 metres wide and tied into 2 retaining walls
All steps are notched into each other.
All staircase returns are notched into the stairs.
It’s a lot of work.

I’ve been quiet on the posting of late.
Here is major project that I’ve been working on the last nearly 16 months.
It’s the new Maitland Athletic’s Centre.
The project started around July 2019 and was completed November 2020.
Hunter Bobcat Hire were Subcontracting to KCE for the duration of the civil construction of the new facility.
The construction included
-All new stormwater and upgrades
-Preparation of the track base
-2 New car parking areas
-Grass centre field
-All access roads
-New intersection on High street.

It’s a new State of the art Athletics facility that will benefit Maitland for many years to come.
