ABOUT US
Beach to Basin Plumbing & Gas is a family-run, locally owned plumbing business servicing the Fraser Coast, including Maryborough, Hervey Bay and surrounding areas. We’re a small, hardworking team who take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality plumbing and gas services to our local community.
Our work includes general maintenance, hot water systems, blocked drains, renovations, new homes, roofing and guttering. We value clear communication, a positive attitude and teamwork, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a friendly, down-to-earth workplace.
About the Role / About You
This role is the first point of contact for our customers and plays an important part in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:
• Confident and professional phone manner
• Previous experience in an admin or customer service role (preferred but not essential)
• Basic computer skills, including Word, Outlook, email management and data entry
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology, including our AI communication software (Podium)
• Open to learning job scheduling, invoicing and daily task management using SimPro and trade ordering programs
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and use initiative
• Comfortable working alongside plumbers and tradespeople in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills when coordinating schedules and liaising with other trades and suppliers
• Reliable, punctual and able to maintain confidentiality
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a small, family-run team

WHAT WE OFFER
• Casual position with regular hours from 8:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
• Potential for additional hours as required
• Supportive, family-run business with a friendly and approachable team
• Full training and handover provided while our current admin assistant is on maternity leave
• Opportunity to learn and develop skills using industry software such as Podium, SimPro and trade ordering programs
• Varied role combining administration, customer service and job coordination
• Local role based on the Fraser Coast

• Competitive casual hourly rate, based on experience

We have very little time for jobs before Christmas this year as filled up very fast, if you need anything done in next couple of weeks please give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate your needs, very busy time but we will try help all our wonderful customers 😊🌲
