My first Harvest after the first planting since having to stop, well; long term pause, the business side of my Microgreens journey.

About 1/3 of a 1020 tray of and about the same of . Also took a big handfuls of radish for the chooks and a wee bit of broccoli. Three trays of are also growing, but they haven’t been as quick as the other two. They are still our favourite as they are so versatile and when picked at the right time, so darn ❤️

Come on Avocado’s, grow and ripen already!; I’m hankering for an avocado on toast and just so happen to also have Fetta raring to go 😂😂

That’s if any stay on the tree with the strong winds of late, plus the children and the Kurrawongs who’ve been hanging around since last season 😂

We should have thinned them by hand seeing how laden the tree is but nature usually does it for us.

A few newbies, but basically just big lots of my usuals. Look how big those bags in the back are 😱 now that I’m getting bigger quantities of some varieties I need to sort out a better storage option for opened bags.

I’m in between and today, for something a wee bit different. So it goes, pasta, freeze dried lollies, microgreens, cookies 😂😂😂

While it’s inconsistent within each tray, the growth of Salad Peas has been good this round. Should have plenty of stock even after an order, for a longer than usual on Saturday; 7am to 3pm!

They are slightly overgrown as they are from a previous planting that was extended, but how beautiful do these Tatsoi Microgreens look?? Especially with the sheen coming from the water (I’d overfilled the tray above it 😂)

The red mustard in the second pic has its own beauty too ❤️

I’ve missed a few Farmers Markets in a row now (a few seperate reasons) and I am super antsy to get back in to it!

😭😭😭

I’ve had mould before, and other issues; but NEVER to this point :( the only trays not affected are the ones I had planted almost a week before, and I’d had mild mould on some of those trays too )

I’ve gone through everything, sanitising, cleaning, soil quality, where I put the trays, and more. The only thing left to do is use tank water versus town water and see if that changes anything.

I’m going to have to cancel the make up Famers Market this Saturday 😔😮‍💨

The ONLY good thing about all this is, I’ll be less buggered the next day as I have a twilight market for my crafty side Saturday night in Highfields

Am loving this afternoon. Have had big help from hubby this afternoon in getting trays cleaned, some stuff moved and new soil mix made, ready for the next round of plantings.

I had a catch up farmers market today and my back is sore and stiff but it’s been a productive day and that makes me happy :)

Me and my new shelving are in a different spot, but we’re here! ❤️ I am getting full love from the sun so if you don’t see me, I’m about 2m back from my tent to avoid it blinding me 😂

I’ve also put all the stock back in the esky as I don’t want it getting too warm!

The Broccoli is tall enough to cut with a knife and not scissors for the first time in ages. Granted it was because they have been sitting a bit longer, but still 😁😂

Broccoli is pretty much my one true consistency at the . It’s the only variety that I regularly (almost always), sell out of. Other varieties come and go in terms of popularity, they keep me guessing.

Tomorrow just about 4 whole trays will be there and I’m so glad as I often have to disappoint people due to selling out early.

See you tomorrow at the market in the grounds of The Cobb & Co Museum. As I was squeezed in kind of last minute, I won’t be in my usual spot, but not too far from it. I’ll basically be across from Craig and Tess of the 👌🏻

I’ve been lucky enough to be squeezed into the this Saturday, the 5th August. I am so glad because after missing last week due to a virus, the stock I have is too much for hubby and I (the girls won’t eat it 😂).
I will still be there on my regular fortnightly date on the 12th and after that.
Picture is of some of the Salad Peas that will be joining me. While the growth for a lot of my varieties has been whack with all this cool weather, the few days of warmth we’ve had has been enough to spark up some great growth on the peas and broccoli, all be it very erratic on the peas; no tray has even growth, patches are great, patches are non existent.

Will post tomorrow with what will be available on Saturday 😃
