☀️ On the weekend, the team from Richo’s Electrical supported a Fundraiser at the North Toowoomba Bowls Club raising much needed funds for Lifeflight! We had lots of fun and it was a very successful day! ☺️ Thanks to everyone for organizing a great event!

As many of you may know, one of our builders, Tim from Tim Smith Constructions Queensland, suffered a horrific head injury in an accident 12 months ago and if it wasn’t for the amazing crew of Lifeflight doctors, he wouldn’t be here with us today. So it was great to give back and support such a worthy charity! 🚁 🏥

👉 ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR A REBATE?!!! 👈

This year the Queensland Government has introduced an Energy Efficient Appliance rebate scheme and has committed $20million towards the rebate.

New energy efficient appliances purchased on or after 1st January 2018 will be eligible for the rebate. It is only available to Queensland residents and is limited to 1 rebate per household.

Appliances that are included in the rebate are:

🍉 Fridge -with a minimum 4 star ⭐️ energy rating.

💸 $250 rebate for an eligible fridge

💦 Washing Machine - with a minimum 4 star ⭐️ energy rating

💰$200 rebate for an eligible washing machine

🍃 Air-conditioner that has a minimum 4 star ⭐️ energy rating (includes ducted, split system and window air-conditioners)

💵 $300 rebate for an eligible air conditioner

The 1st of April is the designated day for all households across QLD to test their smoke alarms, change batteries or replace broken devices. With Easter Sunday falling on the same day, its important not to forget to do this!!

Under Queensland’s new legislation that was brought in in 2017, all faulty, damaged or expired devices must be replaced with a photoelectric system.

So if your smoke alarm checks have been forgotten because of all the Easter festivities...Hop to it and check them out!! Smoke Alarms Save Lives.
