A nice little touch for one of our customers last week. They just wanted power and to move the tv point for his new TV but we ended up wall mounting the TV for them. One less thing they now have to worry about.

Getting back into this new build in Moggs Creek. Cut-out is complete ready for painting but thought we'd make a start twisting some cables together while we had time.

Last week's storm did a number on this pool setup. Blew the toggles right off this weatherproof power point, scorched the pins on the leads to some of the equipment and blew the fuse in the controller.

This customer was wondering why their hot water wasn't quite as hot as it should be. The heating element at the top is how it should look.

After last night's wild storm we've been getting phone calls today about water leaking through light fittings or safety switches tripping. Sometimes an electrician is needed to come and identify and rectify these issues but there may be times where you can find the source of the problem yourself. You still may need an electrician to fix it but it can save you money if you have figured it out by the time an electrician gets to you and you may be able to get some of your house working by then. Please remember to always be safe and never remove the cover of a switchboard or take off a power point or light switch to expose live cables.

One of today's job was to wire up a spa that had been running off an extension lead for some time. This setup was problematic and potentially dangerous as it created problems where it was plugged in but today we installed a permanent and safe solution. Please do not DIY electrical. Always use a licensed electrician.

After an emergency call out last night, this family was lucky after CFA attended to smoke coming from a power point and the wall around it becoming hot. Luckily power was turned off in time preventing any damage to the home.

Ever look at the specs of globes/lights and wonder ‘WTF does that mean?!’ Well Lumens is one of those technical terms and it basically refers to the brightness output. You want to tailor your level of brightness to the intended purpose of the lighting. We’ve just installed 470 lumens globes in bedroom pendants where the purpose of that lighting is to gently illuminate the space, ready for ‘downtime and relaxing’. It emits a nice soft glow around the room 👌🏼
