Mineforce Australia currently have permanent positions available for WORKSHOP BOILERMAKERS, FITTER/MACHINIST, and WELDERS to join our busy Townsville workshop.
If you're a self-motivated individual who can work safely, efficiently and effectively and wants to work alongside a great team in a workshop with first class facilities, then look no further.
Our preferred applicants will poses the following:
A Boilermaker and/or Fitting trade certificate.
Experience in a heavy & medium fabrication workshop environment.
Experienced with Plate work & Pipe work.
Ability to pass a weld test to AS1554 SP with FCAW process.
Ability to pass a weld test to AS 4041 Pressure Piping.
The ability to interpret and work from technical drawings.
Has an eye for detail and demonstrates a high level of pride in their work.
Experience with operating, CNC profile cutters, Guillotines, Plate rollers & Press Brake equipment would be advantageous.
Experience with operating conventional Lathe's, CNC Lathe's and CNC Milling machines.
Forklift & Do***ng ticket would also be advantageous.
