Hydro Excavation Non Destructive Digging- Hydro-Excavation is a new technology that has completely changed the way that excavation in sensitive locations is carried out. Whether there are buried services (such as fibre, gas, power or sewer lines), environmental considerations or the need for a clean and mess free excavation, Hydro-Excavation is the answer. Hydro-Excavation uses high pressure water

and high flow vacuum technology to cut and displace the excavation surface (soil, clay, sand) then effectively and safely remove the debris straight into the truck. Services (such as pipelines, conduits and cables) are left completely undamaged, but are clean and accessible. All excavated material is vacuumed directly into the waste tank in the truck for disposal at an authorised location. Pot-holing is a form of hydro-excavation where a 150mm hole is dug straight down in order to safely, quickly and accurately locate buried assets and services. The service can then be visually inspected, mapped, marked or measured as required.
