Meet the Team!
This is Billy - also known as BD, Badger, Bobo, Mudgee, Billy Davis, Bulldog or Cannon Ball.
Billy joined the team in May of 2013 as a 16 year old rosy cheeked, clean cut teenager from Morwell High, with a passion for fitness and sport, representing the state teams in footy, cricket and basketball, also racing motocross in his spare time!
Billy began his journey by enrolling into a Cert III in Civil Construction. Throughout his traineeship he became a competent and qualified pipe layer and gained numerous qualifications such as rigger dogger, confined space, traffic management, level 2 first aid and spotter.
Billy then transitioned from trainee to pipe layer, gaining experience in the machines along the way and it was clear to us that he had the natural ability and mechanical aptitude to make a great Operator. More time in the operator seat saw Billy gain experience and qualifications in excavator, backhoe, skid steer, dump truck, loader, forklift and roller.
Once Billy become old enough he got his MR truck licence and he was off, the Hino tray and kubota digger where his go to weapons of choice, but he soon out grew them and gained his HC endorsement as soon as possible. Billy is now known as the Head of Transport and Logistics at MTB and is at home behind the wheel of a tipper or float.
Billy has just purchased a house at Glengarry with his high school sweet heart Lani and enjoys camping and going boosh in his beloved patrol.
