Earthworks Supervisor - New Position to join our team
Job Description - Work with the Managing Director in running the day to day operations of the business. Organise and manage all on site crews to deliver the highest standards in terms of quality, environmental and health and safety

The responsibilities of the Supervisor
• Deliver cost effective construction methodologies
• Work with clients and client project managers to deliver cost effective and high quality works
• Attend site meetings
• Day to day site supervision for work teams
• Daily allocation of equipment, staff, management of service and procurement, operational advise to labourers/operator/supervisor.
• Must be able to read plans
• Identifies and resolves issues and risks
• Reports on project progress, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise
• Assist the estimating team with estimation & tender submissions for excavation works
• Lead tool box meetings
• Maintain an onsite management system i.e documents, safety checks, plans
• Ensure compliance with current WH&S Statutory requirements
• Ability to prioritise workload and execute tasks within an agreed time frame
• Exceptional Communication aptitude in written and verbal form. Prompt in communication
Skills Required:
• Be flexible, reliable, hardworking and a team player
• Problem solving skills
• Sound computer literacy
• Must be hands on
• Professional and pleasant manner
• Proven experience in civil construction projects in Australia i.e. bulk & detailed earthworks is essential.
• White Card
• Australian Drivers Licence
• Plant Tickets- excavator operator (Desirable)
• Takes pride in the quality of your work, and dedicated to delivering quality projects on time and within budget
• Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal skills and ability to build rapport
• Strong leadership, negotiation and management skills in all aspects of the Civil industry.
• Supervise Multiple jobs at the same time
