Congratulations to Melanie, who is officially taking home our Dough Bros Nevo Portable Pizza Oven 🥳

The draw itself was simple.

Getting Andrew through the intro without laughing? Considerably harder 😂

A few takes, some very serious acting, multiple spins of the draw and eventually we got down to business.

Then came the best part, calling Melanie to let her know she’d won, followed very quickly by Andrew deciding he’d personally deliver it to her 🤣

Big thank you to everyone who entered, shopped with us and got behind our Father’s Day giveaway. We absolutely loved running this one. Thanks to the legends at Dough Bros as Melanie doesn’t only take home the pizza oven but an infrared thermometer and utensils as well! 🤗

One Dolphin. Almost $2,000 raised. One very worthy local cause 🐬♥️

We were incredibly proud to donate a Dolphin robotic pool cleaner to the Yarramalong RFS Annual Trivia Night & Fundraiser, with the silent auction raising close to $2,000 for our local brigade 🙌

A huge congratulations to the lucky winners. Your pool cleaning just got considerably easier 👀😂

More importantly, thank you to the Yarramalong RFS committee, volunteers and everyone who came along, bought tickets and supported the night.

As a local family business, being able to give back to the communities that support us means a lot.

A brilliant night, a brilliant result and a great reminder of what can happen when a community gets behind its people ♥️

There’s testing, balancing, cleaning, diagnosing, adjusting, repairing and a fair bit of knowing what you’re actually looking at.

So when someone says, “Surely you just throw some chlorine in?”

Well…

Just a trailer full of chlorine drums heading out to one of our customers 🤌🏼

Because sometimes “pool supplies” means a bottle or two.

And sometimes it means bring the trailer 💪💦

Big or small, residential or commercial, if it involves keeping pool water where it needs to be, there’s a fair chance we’re somewhere on the road with it 🫡 🛻

And that’s a wrap on the Gold Coast 💦🥂

A few days away for SPLASH! 2026 somehow managed to fit in a trade show, business networking, a black tie dinner, plenty of industry conversations and a fair bit of “so… what’s next?” between the two of us.

We met some brilliant people, had many genuinely valuable conversations, looked at new product lines and got a first look at equipment and technology that will be hitting the market very soon 👏

One thing that came through loud and clear was the continued support for Australian small businesses backing Australian manufacturing. That matters enormously to us, and it is something we want to keep championing as Splash’s grows.

There were also a lot of conversations between Andrew and I about where we go from here.

Some ideas were refined.
Many new ones were sparked 💡
And a few may have become considerably bigger than they were when we left home 🤪

Trips like this are a good reminder that growing a business is not always about doing more. Sometimes it is about getting out of the day-to-day grind, having the right conversations and coming home with a clearer picture of what comes next

We’re heading back home to the Central Coast with full notebooks, plenty to think and talk about and some very exciting things in the works. But most exciting of all is going home to our boys ♥️

There’s a lot more to come from Splash’s 💦

Turns out pool people clean up alright 👀🥂

Tonight we’re swapping work shirts, pool gear and chemicals for a dinner suit, bow tie and gown as we join around 240 people from the pool and spa industry for a black tie evening at the Q1 SkyPoint Observation Deck with Pool Pro Products

And yes, seeing Andrew in a bow tie instead of a Splash’s shirt may take some getting used to 😂

One of the things we love about being part of this industry is the people behind it. Nights like this are a chance to step away from the day-to-day, catch up with others who understand the wonderfully weird world of pools, share a few stories and celebrate an industry we’re very proud to be part of.

Not a test kit, service ute or pair of work boots in sight tonight.

Just two pool people dressed considerably better than usual, very high above the Gold Coast 🥂💙
