A huge Melbourne Cup Carnival complete for this dedicated team. One that will mark Hede Electrics' involvement in the event for our 35th consecutive year!
Services onsite ranged from Temporary Event Electrical Hire & Installation, Generator Installations & Hire, Outside Broadcast Electrical Installation & Support, Temporary Facilities Electrical Fit Out, Venue & Facilities Maintenance, Temporary Lighting, Diesel Refueling, Standby Support and Onsite Help Desk.

Our Power Quality Analyser in action, seen here on hire at a site of one of our contracted maintenance clients.
They requested detailed time plotted data of their power usage so they can improve their management of energy consumption and more importantly go to market seeking the best deal on sustainable renewables to suit their actual usage.
The report we provide from this device after one week’s continuous recording will provide them with ample data that is tailored to the site’s usage

🚨 Underground Cable Fault 🚨
We were called to this site after a critical circuit lost power. We soon discovered there was a cable fault somewhere along the 100m underground run.
With quality help from Asset Detection Services we pin-pointed the fault location and excavated to find a poorly repaired cable previously damaged.
Add in a quickly deployed super silent generator from East Coast Generators, we had this fault repaired in under 24 hours with new cable and pit installed all without disrupting the clients daily operations

What an amazing Australian Open it has been here at Melbourne Park. Unbelievably this has been our 35th year supplying services to this event. And there is no better sporting precinct to show the world how well we do events in Melbourne!

After 18 months of planning and construction, we are wrapped to see the gates of Grazeland Melbourne now open.

Described as a "playground for foodies", the park has over 50 individual food and beverage options for you to enjoy.
Full power distribution across the park, data/fibre network, plus emergency and area lighting all installed by the Hede team!
A sophisticated power management system designed and provided by East Coast Generators utilises both mains power and generators which can be monitored and controlled offsite.

Such a unique site, we are so proud to be part this new Melbourne destination.
