Turners Beach Community Garden has its AGM on Tuesday 3rd March at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Meet at my house (22 Turners Avenue, TB).

A busy day grouting this wonderful mosaic work which had been added to our wall by some local volunteer artists 🤩
It's looking great and we will have another working bee soon, on one of these beautiful summer evenings. 🦋 🌺

🌧️ wet weather plan:

Today is the day for our Christmas party!! Will the threat of a shower hold this community back….no way!!

We have all of the fun happening inside the hall but let’s keep the ‘no rain dances’ going to hold it off till later so we can still play outside too!

Bring $$ to enter our amazing raffle. $2 a ticket or 3 for $5. This is our major fund raiser to keep events happening 🎉

Entertainment by Brad von Rock will be awesome!

Food trucks will be there so either stay and eat or grab a takeaway if you don’t want to stick around for the whole night.

While we would still love to see your bike dressed up and your pet, we wont have
an official competition.

We can’t wait to see you to celebrate what was an amazing year in our beautiful community.

Thank you to our Lamington lovers support we have planted a new Plum tree.
This Golden Drop will cross-pollinate with the established Green Gage tree, so more fruit to enjoy next season 🤞

6 LAMINGTONS FOR $10 (Cash only please)
We are having a fundraiser for the community garden on Saturday 19th of July, 9am - 12pm in front of the Turners Beach Hall. We will use funds to pay for mulch and plants for the upcoming season.

We had a busy morning tidying up at the community garden, planting, cutting, moving boxes, digging potatoes and chatting to visitors.
Lots of bay leaves , strawberry plants and chokos to give away in the produce stand! Come and grab some.
We are busy planning for the next step, hoping to acquire another plant box, table and seats to enjoy the space and more paving. 🎋🍓

We have a bumper crop of chokos. Came get some from the community garden.
Use them in soups, curries or roast them in a pan with olive oil and give them a bit of roasting colour from the outside. 😋

Our community's support for the lamington fundraiser was outstanding, resulting in a complete sell out. Look out for a new olive tree soon in the garden. Thanks to the helpers who decorated the lamingtons, we had lots of fun.

We are having a fundraiser on Saturday 9.30 - 12.00 at Turners Beach Hall. Lamington 6 pack for $10. Please bring cash. Funds used to buy olive trees. See you on Saturday.
