PLANNING PERMIT APPROVED!
Very happy to see this project in Turners Beach receive its Planning Permit, but also particularly pleased to be operating more and more in Tasmania.
A big credit to Central Coast Council for a planning process that was pragmatic, responsive and, most importantly, focused on the things that actually mattered.
When there were matters to resolve, they were raised clearly and directly. When there was urgency from the project team, that urgency was understood and acted upon. No unnecessary rounds of correspondence, no bureaucracy for the sake of bureaucracy.
Victoria could take a few notes.
A project like this could very easily spend months navigating layers of bureaucracy there, costing the client, consultants, Council and ultimately the project itself considerable time and money, often just to arrive at essentially the same outcome.
Efficiency and good planning are not opposites.
Looking forward to seeing this one take the next step.
