Pleased to revisit this caretakers house at Huesa Sanctuary close to MT Warning. The masonry blades are thermal mass capturing heat in winter and storing the cool of the night in summer. This photo shows the overhangs providing half shade on the mass in early spring. By summer the blades are in full shade and in winter they are in full some. Of course their function is integrated into the architectural language and the angle directs the orientation of the bedrooms to the riverine lake 200 metres away.

An industrial form shaped by precision and clarity.
This self-storage facility explores bold geometry through folded rooflines and crisp volumetric shifts, giving an otherwise utilitarian program a strong architectural identity. The restrained material palette of corrugated metal is punctuated by vivid red portals, marking entries and creating moments of visual tension against the neutral façade. Landscape elements soften the industrial edges, grounding the building within its site while maintaining a robust, functional character.

A study in how thoughtful design can elevate everyday infrastructure.
