Meet The Staff! 👋

Every week, we introduce you to the people behind the business. This week, the star is Nick, our Head of Sales and Design! ⭐

Nick is the one turning your idea into something that actually gets built. From a backyard sail to a full carpark structure, he takes the brief, works out what will hold up, and designs it properly from the start.

If you've talked through a job with us, there's a good chance Nick has had a hand in the design. Getting the geometry, the spans and the fixings right is what separates shade that lasts from shade that doesn't, and that's his side of the business.

Meet The Staff! 👋

This week, we’re introducing you to Casey, our Business Administrator! ⭐

Casey is the friendly face (and voice!) behind the phone at our Tyabb office. If you’ve spoken with us about a recent job, there’s a good chance you’ve already had a chat with her!

From helping organise our team on site to coordinating plans and keeping everything moving behind the scenes, Casey plays a big part in making sure your shade sail project gets done the right way.

So now you can finally put a face to the voice! 😄

Meet Roy 👋

One of our main guys on the floor, and a big part of what makes our fabrication so good.

From repairs to full builds, Roy does it all with the kind of care and dedication that shows in every finished job. This is the work that happens well before a shade sail ever reaches you, and it's why we're proud of what we produce.

Throwback to this one 🌿

Back in February we installed these large commercial shade sails at the Dandenong Council depot. A deep green, big span, and built to handle the demands of a busy working site.

It's still one of our favourite commercial jobs from earlier this year. The scale of it, the clean tensioning, and the way it covers the nursery and yard below make it a real standout.

Still going strong. ☀️❤️

A few months back we installed these striking red shade sails at Glen Eira College, and we're happy to say they're looking just as good today as the day they went up.

Custom made and tensioned to cover the outdoor courtyard, they give students a bold, protected space to enjoy out of the sun. School projects like this one are built to handle daily use and keep performing year after year.

That's what we aim for on every job , shade that looks great and lasts the distance.

Not your average carport. ⛵

We recently finished this custom cantilever shade structure over a driveway and it's a great example of shade built to suit the space.

Clean galvanised frame, charcoal shade cloth, and thanks to the cantilever design there's not a single post on the house side so the car stays protected from sun and weather while the driveway stays open and easy to use.

Every one of these is custom designed, engineered and installed by our team to fit the property properly.

Backyards should be used all year round. ☀️

This week we installed three custom shade sails over the outdoor entertaining area of this gorgeous home, and what a difference it makes.

The whole alfresco space is now protected from the sun while still feeling open and bright, ready for morning coffees, weekend barbecues, or just relaxing outside without cooking in the heat.

We've been out across Frankston recently completing shade sail installations at four local reserves, Jubilee Park, Lindrum Reserve, Southgate Reserve and Bayport Reserve in Langwarrin.

Each site got custom commercial shade sails made to suit the space, covering playgrounds and open park areas so kids can play and families can spend time outside comfortably, whatever the weather brings.

Public park work is some of our favourite work. There's something pretty satisfying about driving past a job months later and seeing families actually using the space.

If you're local, go and have a look, they've all turned out really well.
