A Home That Feels Like a Holiday.

“We fell in love with those old weatherboard holiday homes around Sussex Inlet, Manyana and Bendalong. That became the inspiration for the home we’ve built today.” — Corey

This renovation on was about creating a home that captured everything they loved about growing up on the South Coast.

Living with the Landscape.

At Elanora Four, designed by Alex Urena Building Designer and built by CKS Projects , inside, the boundaries begin to disappear.

Large openings invite bushland and ocean views deep into the home, while the expanded living room and balcony read as one continuous space.

A big shout-out to Brendan Crabb at the Illawarra Mercury who continues to be such a great supporter of our local architecture, design and building community 🙌

Brendan recently caught up with Keiron from CKS Projects to share the story behind the incredible Cliff Top project.

Designed with architect Mike Vail and built on one of the most spectacular (and challenging!) escarpment sites in the Illawarra, it’s a pretty special home — and recently took out the Master Builders NSW Regional Excellence Award for Best Home Under $2 Million.

We love seeing great local projects and the people behind them getting this kind of attention.

Designed for the Sun.

As the day moves, so does the architecture. At Elanora Four, , the open timber pergola above the balcony casts long, rhythmic shadows that slowly shift across the deck, almost like a sundial marking the passage of time.

The same rhythm that defines the façade continues overhead, allowing light itself to become part of the design.

Sometimes the most beautiful material isn’t timber.
It’s sunlight.☀️

A Walk Home.

At Elanora Four, arriving home is part of the experience.

From the timber-clad garage, a bridge-like walkway gently guides you through the landscape before revealing the home below.

Natural timber underfoot. Fine black steel detailing. Bushland on either side.
