Globetech Pty Ltd – Foundation Member Australia - Siemens MindSphere Industry 4.0 Program.
Globetech became one of only eight (8) Automation/IT companies in Australia to be selected as a foundation member of the Siemens MindSphere IoT cloud based analytical program as part of the Industry 4.0 evolution that is changing industry and our society. The presentation was held in Melbourne at Swinburne University.
MindSphere provides the platform for Globetech to assist its customers analyse problems across their entire operations, develop solutions much faster than before, allowing our clients to gain greater control of their current and future business.
MindSphere, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solution connecting physical
manufacturing, energy and infrastructure assets to the virtual world, already has
over one million connected devices and systems worldwide.
Data is being described as the oil of the 21st century. 90% of the data in the world
today has been created in the last two years and 5.5 million new ‘things’ get
connected every day. However, the value is in being able to refine that crude data
and turning it into usable business information. This requires sophisticated platforms
that simplifies and enables the process. It also requires skilled people to extract the value of this data, to develop new innovative ways to analyse and model industries data, to allow industry to make future decisions and respond to every increasing disturbance’s and challenges it faces.
