Tziallas Architects

Tziallas Architects We are a design focused architectural practice, specialising in heritage/adaptive reuse work, residential, commercial and equestrian work.

The studio was established by Tina Tziallas, inspired to create an architectural practice strongly focused on good design. Tina believes that the client should be involved throughout the process of making architecture from project inception through to completion. Tina brings a broad depth of experience, an architectural sensibility and a passion for creating beautiful architecture to the Southern

Highlands. We undertake residential/heritage/adaptive re-use/interior/commercial/religious projects and can provide full architectural services [from concept/sketch design through to construction], design advice/schematic options, measured drawings of existing buildings, feasibility studies and site masterplanning. We take an organised and professional approach to delivering your project, maintaining good communication throughout the process, and working well with consultants and authorities along the way.

I am so excited to speak at the regional showcase… amongst a fabulous line up of regional voices!! There’s plenty of time to register and come along!! (Sydney peeps… you can come too!!)

The NSW Chapter runs continuing professional development (CPD) programs for members across the year.
CPD Programs consist of a range of seminars with each session featuring speakers whose presentations provide formal recognised CPD points for registered architects.
Seminars cover a program of topics designed to promote the development of the profession and assist members to meet their ongoing registration requirements in areas of design, documentation, project delivery and practice management.
This presentation is equivalent to 4 hours/points of formal CPD and will deliver outcomes related to the Competency/s from the National Standard of Competency for Architects.

The vision of clancy is finally here. A breathtaking, contemporary interpretation of a traditional Australian Farmhouse. Inspired by the mountain hut in the classic 1982 film, 'The Man from Snowy River".

Osborne House creates a filtered privacy from the public domain, but is totally open to the garden and the sun at the rear. Taking advantage of a northern orientation, we used a whopping 12m wide door to connect the main living pavilion with the garden, and a concealed cavity slider to frame the view to the garden from the master bedroom. A gallery of louvres leading to the guest bedrooms allows the residents to literally “follow the sun” as they make their way through the house. ( made it all work… thank you!)

Osborne House is a contemporary response to creating a strong, stately home which holds its own amongst the grand residences of surrounding Burradoo. The building is robust and grounded, and has been an exercise in restraint, but there is a measured and selective transparency which connects the house to its site, and most importantly, to the sun! This has been one of our most talked about projects… and we finally have some gorgeous pics of what’s behind the tall front gates!
