I dug up this stump on a job and thought it looked interesting.
I bought it home. Cleaned it, turned it upside down and then planted with Dendrobuims.
This is the result many years later.
My favourite thing in the garden at this time of the year.

After 40+ years, it is time to retire the construction side of the business.

Just a small project at Speers Point.
This one took months to get passed through Council The retaining walls are up to 2m high. Which they do not like approving. But we got it through.
Oh, and we also had to divert 2 natural springs that are under the proposed garage.

Have to love Autumn Crocus. They bloomed right on time this year.

Back in 1994 I did an 11 day trip down the Franklin River in Tasmania.
I fell in love with the ruggedness of the area.
There is a grove of giant trees that are in danger of being logged.
Nothing is worth destroying this area!
Please have a read of this and sign their letter.

Extremely difficult to get trades at the moment for everyone, so we are up to the challenge.
Plus a brief cameo by the owner😄
