Underground leak and drainage repairs completed beneath a warehouse slab πŸ”§πŸ’§

Using electronic leak detection, we located a concealed water leak beneath the concrete near the main roller doors before saw cutting and excavating the slab to expose the damaged services below.

The job involved replacing a leaking 20mm copper water line along with damaged 100mm sewer pipework including a new junction, bend and overflow relief gully before reinstating the slab with reinforced concrete.

Finished off with pressure testing, site clean-up and reinstatement works πŸ‘Œ

Major roofing project completed in Miami including full re-sheet, flashings, guttering and weatherproofing works πŸ”§πŸ

This project involved replacing and completing multiple roof sections including flat roof areas, lift shaft roofing and associated guttering and flashings.

The works started with setting up site access and safety equipment before installing new roof sheets, sarking and press-tight insulation across the roof areas. External flashings were then fitted along with sealing works to ensure all penetrations and roof junctions were fully weatherproof.

Additional roofing sections were completed including:
βœ”οΈ New guttering and downpipes
βœ”οΈ New ridge capping
βœ”οΈ Lift shaft apex flashing
βœ”οΈ Replacement roof sheeting to elevator shaft area
βœ”οΈ Front gutter installation
βœ”οΈ Top roof capping and finishing flashings

The entire roof surface was then blown down and cleaned with all debris removed from site before carrying out final sealing and weatherproofing checks.

A massive upgrade and a really clean finished result πŸ‘Œ

Major sewer and stormwater repair completed after extensive tree root damage πŸŒ³πŸ”§πŸ’§

This was a large excavation and drainage repair project involving both the sewer and stormwater systems after tree roots caused significant underground damage and blockages.

The works started with excavation around the damaged drainage area where tree roots had heavily infiltrated the lines. During excavation it became clear the damage extended further downstream, requiring tree removal and root ball extraction to safely access the broken sewer line.

Once exposed, the damaged sewer pipework was removed and CCTV inspections were carried out to assess the condition of the remaining line and check for additional blockages or failures. A new sewer section was then installed including an inspection opening, expansion coupling and new boundary trap shaft (BTS) to improve future maintenance access.

Attention then shifted to the stormwater system where further CCTV investigations identified extensive root intrusion beneath existing concrete areas. Temporary stormwater connections were installed to maintain drainage while excavation and replacement works were carried out.

A new trench was excavated using machinery to replace the blocked stormwater line from the existing kerb adapter through to the connection beneath the slab. New 100mm stormwater pipework and an additional inspection opening were installed to improve future access for maintenance and jetting.

Once all drainage works were completed, the excavation was backfilled with suitable bedding material and the site reinstated including:
βœ”οΈ Reinstating turf
βœ”οΈ Installing new garden edging
βœ”οΈ Spreading topsoil
βœ”οΈ Removing spoil, clay and tree roots
βœ”οΈ Full site clean-up and wash down

A massive amount of work went into this one but the end result restored both the sewer and stormwater systems properly while also improving future serviceability of the lines πŸ‘Œ

Large outdoor kitchen and stormwater infrastructure project underway πŸ”§πŸŒ§οΈπŸ½οΈ

This multi-stage project involved major stormwater upgrades, water and sewer service installations, drainage improvements and final plumbing fit-off for a new outdoor kitchen area.

The works began with relocating water supply and waste services into the new kitchen cabinetry area while also reworking several downpipe risers so they sat correctly flush against the external wall rather than running on an angle.

The next stage involved installation of approximately 30 metres of new 100mm stormwater drainage with correct falls running to a swale outlet. Multiple branch connections were installed for channel grate drains and catch pits before manually backfilling around the drainage system using tonnes of drainage gravel for proper support and flow.

Additional stormwater works included:
βœ”οΈ Construction of a soakage pit using geotextile cloth and drainage gravel
βœ”οΈ Installation of slotted agricultural drainage pipe
βœ”οΈ Connection of new drainage lines into existing stormwater systems
βœ”οΈ Repair of stormwater lines previously damaged during excavation
βœ”οΈ Relocation and diversion of stormwater infrastructure around retaining walls and water tank systems

Water and sewer services were then extended to the new outdoor kitchen area including:
βœ”οΈ New exposed copper water service down external wall
βœ”οΈ Transition to underground PEX within conduit
βœ”οΈ New sewer line installation to kitchen location
βœ”οΈ Preparation for outdoor kitchen fit-off works

All plumbing systems and appliances were then tested for correct operation and leaks before carrying out final site clean-up works.

Huge amount of infrastructure and plumbing work involved in this one with a massive transformation to the property’s drainage and outdoor entertaining setup πŸ‘Œ

New commercial cup washers installed in bar area for faster glass cleaning and workflow πŸ»πŸ”§

This job involved installing 2 fixed cup washers into the kitchen/bar bench area to improve glass rinsing efficiency and streamline service operations.

The installation started by carefully drilling 2 new penetrations through the benchtop to suit the cup washer positions before mounting and securely fixing both units into place.

The water supply was then isolated to allow modifications to the existing hot water line. New tees and isolation valves were installed so each cup washer could be independently isolated for future servicing and maintenance.

Once the new hot water connections were completed, the cup washers were connected and commissioned before restoring the water supply and thoroughly testing both units for correct operation and leaks.

Finished off with a full clean-up leaving the bar area tidy and ready for service πŸ‘Œ

Large bathroom and kitchen upgrade completed in Main Beach with a full mix of plumbing, fit-off and custom modification works πŸ”§πŸšΏπŸ½οΈ

This project involved upgrading multiple fixtures throughout the home including new shower mixers, bath mixer, kitchen sink, kitchen tap and additional bathroom accessories.

The bathroom works started with replacing 2 shower mixers and 1 bath mixer. Due to the tiled walls already being finished, access openings had to be carefully cut into the plaster walls from the rear side to safely access the existing mixer bodies without damaging the tiled surfaces.

Once access was gained, the old mixers were removed and new mixer bodies supplied and installed before being securely fixed into position with the correct supports and fixings. After installation, all mixers were pressure tested and checked thoroughly for leaks and correct operation before temporarily covering the access openings pending final wall reinstatement.

The kitchen upgrade involved removing the existing sink and preparing the area for a new sink and tap installation. To make the new sink fit correctly, the stone benchtop had to be carefully cut and modified to suit the updated dimensions and ensure the opening matched the new fitment requirements.

Once the benchtop modifications were completed, the new kitchen sink was installed and sealed neatly into position before fitting off the new kitchen tap and reconnecting all hot water, cold water and waste services.

Because the new tap featured a pull-out hose setup, additional cabinet modifications were required beneath the sink to allow proper operation and clearance of the hose assembly. Shelving inside the cabinet was carefully altered to ensure everything operated smoothly without interference.

Additional works throughout the bathrooms included:
βœ”οΈ Installation of a new towel rail in the main bathroom
βœ”οΈ Installation of a new soap holder securely fixed to tiled wall
βœ”οΈ Removal of the flow restrictor from the ensuite shower to improve hot water performance and flow

Once all works were completed, every fixture, mixer, waste and water connection throughout the property was fully tested for leaks and correct operation before carrying out a complete clean down of all work areas.

A huge improvement across both the bathrooms and kitchen with a really clean finished result πŸ‘Œ

This stage of the project involved finalising the cold water and waste connections for a new washing machine setup along with installation of a new toilet suite.

The laundry was fitted off with new water and waste connections including a dedicated isolation tap for the washing machine to allow easier servicing and maintenance in the future.

A new toilet suite was also installed and connected back into the existing waste system. To complete the water connection, new pipework was run beneath the house with the supply brought up through the floorboards and fitted with a new isolation valve servicing the toilet.

Once all fixtures were connected, the toilet pan was siliconed neatly to the finished floor and the full installation was tested for correct operation and leaks.

Clean simple fit-off work but an important stage getting the space functional and ready for use πŸ‘Œ

Hot water system upgrade completed with added leak protection πŸ”§πŸ’§

This job in Mermaid involved removing and disposing of an old faulty hot water system before upgrading the setup with a new 125L unit, safe tray and fully reconfigured valve train.

Pipework was altered to suit the new installation, with all new valves, fittings, insulation and a 500mm safe tray installed to bring the system up to current requirements.

As part of the upgrade, a Mildred automatic shut off valve and solenoid system was also installed to provide added leak protection and automatic isolation in the event of a water leak.

Once complete, the new system was fully tested for correct operation, the site cleaned up and compliance lodged with the local authority including Form 4 certification.

Clean install and a much safer setup for the property πŸ‘Œ
