🚽💧 A few small plumbing issues — all sorted in one visit.

We attended this property in Burleigh to investigate problems with a toilet and bathroom basin.

After checking everything over, we found a failing toilet inlet valve along with issues around the pan connection and a blocked basin waste.

👀 Sometimes you have to go underneath the concrete to fix the problem properly.

This kitchen drainage repair required a little more than just clearing a blockage.

🔨 Saw cut & removed concrete
⛏️ Excavated and exposed the existing drainage

🌧️ Rusty roof sump out. Custom replacement in.

This commercial roof sump had badly deteriorated and reached the point where replacement was the right option.

With the sump located at height, we brought in a scissor lift so our team could safely access the area and get the job done properly.

The works included:

✅ Removal of the old rusted sump
✅ New custom-manufactured sump
✅ All joints fixed & sealed
✅ New 150mm downpipe dropper
✅ Existing 150mm downpipe reconnected
✅ Complete system tested

💧 Leaking Hot Water System Replacement – Gold Coast

Another leaking hot water system replaced and brought up to current compliance requirements by the Red Beard Plumbing team.

For this property in Robina, we isolated the water supply, removed and disposed of the failed unit and supplied and installed a new 315L Rheem Stellar Stainless electric hot water system.

The installation included all required valves, new pipework and fittings, slab and insulation, followed by full testing for correct operation.

We also take care of the paperwork, including lodgement of the required Form 4 with the local authority.

This section of guttering had reached the end of its life, so the Red Beard Plumbing team removed the old gutter and brackets and gave it a fresh replacement.

🚨 Copper stolen. Water off. Tenancy out of action.

This commercial tenancy had its copper pipework stolen and ripped straight from the wall, leaving multiple fixtures without water.

🔧 Our team got to work:

✅ Assessed the damaged plumbing
✅ Replaced the stolen sections with new copper pipework
✅ Reconnected the toilet, basin, kitchen sink, HWS & water boiler
✅ Reinstated TPR & expansion drain pipework
✅ Added extra clips and fixings to better secure the new pipework
✅ Repaired damaged 100mm stormwater pipework
✅ Reinstated and tested the complete water supply

Underground leak repaired beneath hot water system and concrete slab 💧🔧

This job in Southport involved isolating and relocating the hot water system before cutting and excavating the concrete slab to access a concealed water leak beneath the property.

The leak was traced to a damaged poly tee fitting caused by tree root pressure against the pipework. The damaged section was repaired, new fittings and isolation valve installed, and the hot water system reinstated and tested.

Another hidden leak sorted and back up running 👌

Stormwater upgrade completed including new drainage lines, pits and roofwater connections 🌧️🔧

This project in Runaway Bay involved excavating and installing new stormwater drainage along with 3 new stormwater pits to improve drainage flow and future maintenance access.

The works also included installing a new 90mm pop outlet and downpipe connection into the existing stormwater system.

Finished off with flow testing, concreting around pits, reinstatement works and full site clean-up 👌
