‘Nath Made It’ – bespoke wood products proudly made by Nathan Jones in South East Queensland. What started as a woodworking hobby quickly grew (almost as fast as my tool collection!) into a woodworking obsession. Nath Made It gives me the opportunity to share my love of handmade products and beautiful timbers. I work with a range of timbers including Camphor Laurel, Red Gum, Silky Oak, Black Wattl

⚔️ Custom Sword Engraving ⚔️

A recent laser engraving job completed on this sword using our 30W fibre laser.

The design was engraved directly onto the blade for a permanent finish with plenty of detail.

This was a fun project and a great example of the different types of custom engraving we can do here at Nath Made It.

🖨️ Custom Designed & 3D Printed Yoto Mini Stand 🎵

Here's a project I've recently completed from start to finish!

Designed in Fusion 360 and then 3D printed on my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, this custom stand is made specifically for the Yoto Mini audio player.

The stand provides a stable base while keeping the Yoto Mini upright and easy for kids to use, making it perfect for bedrooms, playrooms, and travel.

I love being able to take an idea from the computer screen, design it in CAD, and turn it into a real-world product using 3D printing technology.

Whether it's prototypes, custom parts, business products, replacement components, or personalised items, Nath Made It can help bring your ideas to life.

🔥 Custom UV Laser Engraved Gear Shift K***s 🔥

Just finished these awesome gear shift k***s for Built For Driving! 👌

Using our UV laser, we were able to permanently mark the BFD logo and flame design with incredible detail and precision, creating a clean, professional finish that won't peel or wear off like stickers or decals.

🔥 Precision timber work ready for resin infill 🔥

These custom pieces were created using both my 5W UV galvo laser and my CNC machine on beautiful camphor laurel timber 👌

The CNC was used for machining and profiling, while the 5W UV laser was used to deep engrave the timber approximately 3mm deep with super crisp detail and sharp clean edges. Combining both machines gives an awesome finish ready for resin infill and final finishing 🪵✨

The amount of precision the UV galvo can achieve in timber still blows me away — especially seeing that clean depth and detail come through the camphor grain 🙌
