DESIGN DRAFTSMAN - ELECTRICAL

Great Southern Electrical is currently seeking an experienced Design Draftsman to join our design team, TFL located in either Wagga Wagga NSW or Griffith NSW.
Great Southern Electrical is a specialist in providing design and construction for overhead and underground high voltage electrical services.

This is an opportunity to expand your skills and join an organisation that can offer you and your family long-term stability. We are looking to fill this position with a person who has a strong and reliable character, someone who is keen to be part of an expanding team. If you enjoy working within an established professional organisation and are looking for the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills in this industry then this is the
position for you

Applicants with some or all of the following attributes & qualifications would be desirable:

• A minimum of 2-3 years Electrical design/drafting experience
• Relevant qualification in Electrical design, drafting or trade.
• Experience in electrical networks, systems and switchboards preferable
• Building, Civil, Structural, Survey drafting qualifications will be considered
• Sound knowledge of the Essential Energy Network standards is highly desirable.
• Experience in electrical networks, systems and switchboards an advantage
• Well-developed communication skills and the ability to make clear and precise decisions.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Autocad 2018/ 2019 or similar, LV Drop, Perfect-lite, AGI32 and Neutron
• Have a valid NSW Driver’s Licence – Class C
• Possess full Australian working rights
• High level of organisational, coordination and prioritisation skills.
• WorkCover Site Induction Training Card.
