Recently sealed this bathroom on the 2nd floor of the house that was leaking through the laundry ceiling. We recommend using epoxy grout to all floors especially two story bathrooms to provide a waterproof base at tile surface. Concrete and polymer base grouts tend to crack and move and wear with time using cleaning products. Epoxy grouts eliminates this!

Why do we go to the effort of removing the grout the best we can and removing all the calcium, staining, soap scum etc from the tiles before we grout and silicone and seal?

It’s because this helps all our products bond to the surface. Ensuring no future leaks.

A lot of cheaper solutions don’t clean, don’t remove grout and within weeks are leaking again.

So trust a tradie that does it right from the get go!

Efflorescence is a sign your shower may be leaking. This happens when moisture gets trapped under your tiles and the moisture brings minerals like salt to the surface and dries leaving you with this powdery white substance.

How do we fix this issue? We remove the floor grout replacing it with epoxy grout. This eliminates water getting under your tiles.

Epoxy grout is fully waterproof, chemically resistant and won’t break away like your standard concrete and polymer based grouts especially in two story buildings.
