Not even sure where to start with this one.

Probably the biggest job Wayne's ever done and by far the most hours sunk into a project.
Collaboration with Linc from LDB Automotive and could not have done it without the rest of the guys- Mick, Tony, Gus, Chris and Mitch the plumber.

Pure exhaustion hit a few days ago but the push was on to get it done ready for Gazzanats Darwin NT

But yesterday, seeing it done, hitched up, at home in the back and looking absolutely schmick makes it all worth it πŸ‘Œ

I jumped in the photo because Wayne always tells me "unless you were home with the kids I wouldn't be able to do what I do" So that makes me part of the team 🀣

Thanks so much Smallmon Brothers Waste for having us (and the kids- who were ecstatic about their santa sacks) at your Christmas party. We are so lucky πŸ₯°

Judging by the dodge and try in the video she might need to start training Wayne's over 35s team πŸ€£πŸ˜‰

Wayne's dear friend and colleague πŸ’”
Labsy was there for guidance from the start of Wayne's trade (he helped build "the mouse trap"- Wayne's parents customised motorhome when Wayne was 16) until last week.
When WJS Welding and Contracting first started, Labsy shared the shed with us for 5 years and was still a constant even when he moved out. Always on hand to help and a bigger support system for Wayne then we probably realised at the time.
Wayne and I will be attending his celebration of life of Friday and supporting his beautiful wife, daughters and family β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Ian Peter Ladbury

He's going to kill me 🀣

Today we are celebrating 12 years in business as WJS Welding and Contracting πŸ₯³
By celebrating, I mean Wayne and Mick are working their arses off on another 12 hour day and I'm making posts with old photos I found without permission πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

So many words to describe the last 12 years but busy seems like a good one.
Busy working, busy building clientele, busy having a family and busy trying to find the balance between work and home.
We have met some of the best people over the years and have learnt so much (and still learning everyday)
We are extremely grateful to anyone that has used our business, shared our posts, helped get employees, answered my frantic calls about receipts and payroll.

Don't let the photo fool you, sometimes if your really lucky he actually smiles these days! πŸ˜‰

Wayne told me not to use this picture- so naturally much like the rest of our working relationship in 2022, I did it anyway! 🀣

What a year, possibly the busiest ever. Couldn't have done it without Mick too πŸ‘

Thanks for the support over 2022 and we'll see you in 2023 πŸ₯³

It was a sad day for us yesterday- Jayden and his beautiful family are moving away and it was his last day with WJS 😭

It has been a pleasure to watch Jaydens life change both professionally and personally over the years.
We owe him alot of thanks for helping make the last few years of the business the most enjoyable we've had. Being able to safely leave jobs in his capable hands if the kids were sick or we wanted to get away for a family holiday means more then you could know.

12 months ago I began working with the boys on a regular basis so from me personally I want to say a big thankyou to Jayden for his patience with me! You are a great teacher and you made learning the ropes understandable.
Not sure how Wayne and I will go now without you refereeing our disputes (and also the fact you won't be there to take my side and help me win 🀣)

When we told the kids that Jayden was moving away Haddie was very concerned that "daddy is losing his best friend" πŸ˜‚ but im sure we will be staying in contact regularly!

We are both very proud of Jaydens achievements and growth in his last few years and wish him and his family nothing but the best πŸ™

STICK RAKE & SIEVE BUCKET

Extended this Stick rake by another 1.5metres for it to fit on a D7 dozer

&

3.5 metre wide multi-use Sieve Bucket with Quick Hitch designed and fabricated by WJS Welding.
Used with a loader to clear and carry fallen trees and piles of sticks off paddocks without damaging crops.
Also able to come back through previously cleared land to pull scrub and regrowth.

The photos don't do these justice- they are huge! I think Wayne and Jayden were pretty happy to see them make their way up the driveway to their new home 🀣
Can't wait to see them in use- will upload a video when I have one.
