There are a few things you can do to help protect your plants from the harsh, dry and hot conditions:

☀️ Water early in the morning or late in the evening
☀️Use drip irrigation or soaker hoses to deliver water efficiently
☀️Provide shade for sensitive plants with shade cloth
☀️Move sensitive potted plants undercover or indoors
☀️Apply a thick layer of mulch to retain soil moisture and keep roots cool
☀️Harvest vegetables as soon as they are ready to help the plant save energy
☀️Choose plants like succulents, lavender or marigolds that thrive in hot conditions
