Full-time Works Supervisor – Civil Construction
📍 Based in Wallaroo | Yorke Peninsula
M.A Skinner Contracting Pty Ltd is a well-established local earthmoving and quarry business delivering civil construction projects across the region. With a strong pipeline of work including subdivisions, roadworks, stormwater, and infrastructure projects, we are seeking an experienced Works Supervisor to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for coordinating crews, subcontractors, plant, and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on site
- Manage site crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and plant resources
- Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Plan and coordinate works to achieve project milestones
- Monitor quality assurance and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting
- Ensure workplace health, safety, and environmental standards are met
- Liaise effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience supervising civil construction projects
- Demonstrated subdivision construction experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, road construction, stormwater, sewer, and service installation
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing site productivity
- Current White Card
- Valid driver's licence
- Building Work Supervisor Licence highly desirable
- Civil construction qualifications or relevant industry experience
