Well done to Nathan and Hayden from Meinck Fertiliser Spreaders who were spotted on the job on Monday spreading fertiliser for the Mount Gambier & District Baseball League.

Elders are proud sponsors of the Baseball League and we're thrilled to donate the fertiliser to make their grounds lush and healthy, with Nathan and Hayden donating their time and resources to spread it. Well done boys, the league are going to love their grass! 🤩 ⚾️

It seems only right to start at the beginning, with the history of Meinck Fertiliser Spreaders.

Meinck’s have been farming the South East & VIC for decades, with their love for the land expanding into a crucial niche within agriculture, Spreading Fertiliser.

Founded in 2000 by Herbert & Joanne Meinck alongside their young family of three children, Meinck Fertilisers have continued a successful business for the past 23 years.

In 2021 Herbert was diagnosed with cancer and during 2022 sadly lost his battle. Herbert’s son, Nathan, who has shadowed his father in farming, every chance he could, took the reigns of Meinck Fertilisers and is carrying on the business in the same fashion it begun, beside his family, partner Sharna, and son Mo.

Nathan and Sharna have great plans for the future and it brings them much pleasure to be taking care of fellow farmers in the district with their fertiliser and spreading needs.
