Last Friday, Workforce Road Services were proud to support the Ballina Rotarians and NSW Police Force with their Community Awareness Walk again domestic and family violence.

Under blue skies and warm temperatures the team assisted the convoy of schools, sporting groups, SES vehicles, Police and Fire Brigade down River Street and onto Cherry street .

Well done to all involved and for supporting a great cause.

Last weekend and Monday were busier than usual for all the crew out of our Newcastle Depot. Essential maintenance work was carried out on the New England Highway at Tarro Rail Bridge, and Workforce Road Services was entrusted with the responsibility for providing Traffic Management whilst the work was undertaken.
The Tarro Bridge is a critical link in the region and an extremely busy route which required traffic being reduced to one lane in each direction for the duration of the work.
We are extremely proud of our team that was involved, particularly Simone who spent many days planning the entire works and the team on the ground for executing the traffic control without any issues.
To all the Traffic Controllers, Team Leaders and Management who worked around the clock on this politically sensitive project that had significant media focus, we thank you for all your efforts and a job well done.

The Nicho Hynes Cup is a fantastic event supporting the development of junior rugby league throughout the Central Coast, Hunter and Maitland regions. This annual event features matches across all junior age groups and serves as a platform for the Umina Bunnies to undergo trials before their season commences and offers the Indigenous players of the Mindaribba Warriors a valuable opportunity to showcase their talent to potential NRL scouts and other representative avenues.

Workforce Road Services is proud to be a supporter of the Mindaribba Warriors and would like to congratulate the organisers and volunteers for putting on such a great event. Well done also to the main man, Nicho for all his time and support of the event, the smiles on those kids faces meeting one of their idols was priceless.
