ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE
Full-time, 12 Lindy Court Warragul

Cutting Edge Electrical are seeking a hardworking, proactive and motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. The successful candidate will join a friendly team full of knowledge and experience in a wide range of electrical tasks.

✔️ Full-Time Electrical Apprenticeship Position
✔️ On-the-job training combined with TAFE studies
✔️ Workshop located in Warragul

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assisting Tradesmen and performing tasks on various electrical jobs, including but not limited to agricultural and dairy, industrial, domestic, motors, generators and variable speed drives
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions carefully
• Punctuality (work hours can vary depending on projects)
• Teamwork
• Using tools and equipment safely
• Carefully following safe work procedures
• Carrying out workshop tasks

No prior experience is required; however, the following skills and qualities will be highly regarded:

• Good organisation and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Passion for the electrical industry
• Strong communication skills
• Previous workforce experience (desirable)
• Knowledge of the dairy industry (advantageous)
• Manual Drivers Licence

A MESSAGE FROM GREG COLE

After 27 years at the helm of Cutting Edge Electrical, I'm so pleased to share that I'm passing the baton onto long-time employee and General Manager of the last three years, Warren Lowrie. Last week, Julie and I transferred 100% ownership of the business to Warren and his wife Chloe.

Warren has shown exceptional leadership managing Cutting Edge over the last three years, through incredibly challenging times with covid and associated stock shortages, only for the business to come out the other side stronger than ever. As I've shifted my focus to managing Lely Center Gippsland just down the road, Julie and I felt it was only fair that Warren and Chloe were properly rewarded for all of the hard work and long hours that go into successfully running a business of Cutting Edge's size.

We're confident that the business is in the absolute best possible hands, and are so pleased for our customers and incredible team of staff that transferring ownership to Warren and Chloe will mean that business continues as usual for everyone.

I want to say an enormous thank you to our loyal customers who've supported us over the last three decades, and allowed us to grow the business from operating out of a hay shed in 1996 to the award-winning operation we're so proud of today. I'll be reaching out to many of you in the coming weeks to say a personal thank you and farewell.

In the meantime, we wish Warren, Chloe and staff all the best for the next chapter.
