An exposed aggregate path doesn’t have to be boring

A path is more than just getting from A to B. A gentle curve and oversized exposed aggregate steppers create movement through the garden, while wrapping around a feature pot that will showcase a beautiful Forest Pansy (Cercis).

This Glen Iris job was planted at the start of summer and it’s already come a long way.

This space had struggled for years to grow anything, but once we got the plant selection right, improved the soil and most importantly kept the water up, everything changed.

New plants need more water than you think, especially early on. It’s usually the missing piece.

A good prune here and there makes a big difference too, keeps things healthy, encourages flowering, and stops it all getting leggy. Think of it like a regular trim.

Bit of fertiliser in autumn and spring and you’re setting the garden up to do its thing
