Irrigation Installer/Technician needed
About the role
We are seeking an Irrigation Installer/Technician to join our expanding team. You will be involved in the installation, commissioning, and service of residential, commercial, agricultural, & industrial projects. This would be a great role for anyone who loves working outside with their hands.
Tasks and responsibilities
• Installation of PVC & poly pipe systems
• Installation of sprinklers and drip irrigation
• Installation of pump sets and filter assemblies
• Bore Hole Pump installations and repairs
• Solar Pump Systems
• Programming & installation of control systems
• Collaborate with clients and team members to design and plan irrigation system layouts
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
• Build positive relationships with customers and co workers
• Customer service in our retail store as required
• Maintain a safe working environment through the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment
• Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies and organisational values
Skills and experience
• Energetic and physically fit
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Experience in the irrigation, plumbing, landscaping or turf management industries would be highly valued
• Current Australian manual driver’s licence
• Enthusiasm and adaptability
• Problem solving and time management with the ability to prioritise workload
• Value the importance of great customer service
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
Benefits and perks
• Attractive remuneration package negotiable but starting at $30 per hour, all overtime paid and allowances paid.
