🌳 Arbor Centre at the TREENET 27th Annual Symposium | Adelaide 2026
From 3–5 September, three of our Directors and our Sales Manager travelled to Adelaide for the 27th Annual TREENET Symposium, bringing together more than 300 professionals in tree management from across Australia.
Arbor Centre was proud to sponsor this year’s symposium, giving us the opportunity to have a booth throughout the conference and connect with an incredible range of arborists, consultants, researchers, local government representatives and other industry professionals from across the country.
A highlight of the symposium was seeing our Commercial Director, Alex Bodenstaff - Arbor Centre, take the stage as one of the event presenters. Alex shared his knowledge and experience around AS 4970 – Protection of Trees on Development Sites, discussing how the Standard can be practically implemented across a variety of sites, projects and real-world situations.
Meanwhile, our Operations Director, Sam Bodenstaff, and Sales Manager, Chad Thompson, manned the Arbor Centre booth, where they had some fantastic conversations about trees, infrastructure protection, development and the challenges of protecting both trees and surrounding infrastructure.
It was also a great opportunity to showcase Arbor Centre’s knowledge and experience in infrastructure protection around trees, discussing practical approaches and best practices that can help trees and infrastructure successfully coexist within our increasingly built-up environments.
We’re incredibly proud to have represented Arbor Centre at a national industry event like TREENET and to contribute to the ongoing conversations around better tree management, protection and urban forest outcomes across Australia.
A huge thank you to the TREENET team, everyone who stopped by our booth, and all the presenters and delegates who made the 27th Annual Symposium such a valuable few days.
We look forward to continuing the conversations and seeing where some of the new connections made in Adelaide lead. 🌳
