Termseal Australia Pty Ltd

Termseal Australia Pty Ltd Australian-made termite management & barrier systems, engineered for long-term protection of your home or building. TERM-seal (Aust) Pty. Ltd.

(TERM-seal®) is a corporate entity formed in March 2003. The directors are highly regarded and have proven track records spanning three decades or more in their chosen fields. In 1997, entomologist Phil Hannay, and industrial chemist Roger Franklin began working on novel and ecologically sound systems for termite-proofing new and existing structures. The aim of their pure and applied research was

to devise a proprietary product range that would provide eco friendly, cost-effective, easy to install alternatives to existing methods of termite protection while reducing exposure of installers, home owners and the environment to pesticides. In 2002, this closely knit partnership began realisation of the developed systems with the attributes they were seeking. A great deal of research and development, testing and regulatory compliance was required to turn this concept into the highly efficacious products that form the TERM-seal® systems. We are proud that our company and products are wholly Australian owned and manufactured - by us in our specialised factory in Brisbane.

Stop moisture. Stop termites. Stop call‑backs.

When you need a membrane that actually performs on-site, TERM-seal™ Multi-Purpose Active delivers a seamless, flexible, termite‑resistant and waterproof barrier across critical construction points, wall backfills, internal walls, wet areas, construction joints, step‑downs and cavities. Applied by brush, roller or heavy‑duty airless spray, it cures into a durable protective layer that keeps the structure sealed and compliant.

For full adhesion and long‑term reliability, pair it with TERM-seal™ Prime Coat.

Choose the system that reduces risk, not just ticks a box.

Surface preparation is only one part of creating a continuous termite and moisture protection system.

Joints, cracks, saw cuts and service penetrations can all require specialised treatment to help maintain system continuity.

TERM-seal™ Sealant Active is a waterproof crack and joint sealant designed for construction joints, repairs, penetrations and other critical details. It can also be used as a bonding and sealing component for concrete, timber and masonry applications.

Within the TERM-seal™ Continuous Protection System, each product has a specific role. Sealant Active helps address the details that larger membrane applications alone may not cover.

Surface preparation is one of the most important steps in creating a reliable physical termite and moisture barrier.
Filling, smoothing, scrubbing and clearing the surface ensures TERMSEAL™ Prime Coat, TERMSEAL™ Multi-Purpose Active and TERMSEAL™ Sealant Active bond correctly and perform as a continuous system.

Correct preparation = correct adhesion = correct barrier integrity.

09/06/2026

Surface preparation plays an important role in the performance of any termite and moisture management system.

TERM-seal™ Prime Coat is designed for use on concrete and masonry surfaces and must be applied prior to TERM-seal™ Multi-Purpose Active. By providing the necessary surface texture for correct adhesion, it helps prepare the substrate for the next stages of the system.

From surface preparation to protection, every component has a role to play.

Moisture plays a major role in how termites move and access a structure. Damp areas, cracks and cavities can create concealed pathways that increase the risk of termite entry. TERMSEAL provides dual protection by combining moisture‑proofing and termite management within one integrated system.

Designed for Australian conditions, TERMSEAL products work together to seal and protect key stages of the build.

TERMSEAL components can be used to make up different systems for different construction types, working together as part of an integrated termite and moisture management system. Certain products are paired to maintain continuity, for example, Sealant Active is used with PRM Cord and Capping, while Termite‑Resistant Adhesive is used with Ura‑Fen Shield.

These combinations help maintain protection between sheet materials and concrete or masonry surfaces, even where minor surface variations exist. Supported by CodeMark certification and regularly updated installation manuals, TERMSEAL provides reliable performance across varied construction conditions.
