Cheaper is never better!

Especially when it comes to waterproofing.

Being out bid on any project, you always ask yourself the could we have done it for cheaper? The answer is yes but with that ‘yes’, it means you will have to compromise on one of the following,

Labour – using non-qualified personal.
Material – sourcing non-applicable products.

An unsuccessful proposal, we offered to assist the client for the build to ensure no corners would be cut in remediation of the roof. The client declined our offer.
The previous installer has broken several waterproofing codes of practice.
Our competitor decided to torch membrane directly on top of the existing membrane. Not finding the source of water and stopping it showed us the installer used non-qualified personal and by installing direct on top of existing membrane was a pointless exercise. Once water is present underneath a surface you are already compromised.
