Congratulations to our Club 25 Graduates for 2025!

Our Club 25 members from across Australia met in Adelaide last week for a full day of education and celebration.

We began with a professional development workshop designed to help participants reflect on their behaviours and strengthen key workplace skills. The Club 25ers then went for a site tour at Payneham Swimming Centre where Senior Site Manager Randall Weeks gave valuable insight into the scale and impact of our work.

The celebrations concluded with a graduation dinner, which included guest speaker, Justin Browne (Project Manager, SA), who spoke about his own experiences in the program and the significant impact it has had on his career.

At BADGE we are incredibly proud of our Club 25 program, creating opportunities for the future leaders of our industry to network, learn and enjoy their careers.

The Warriappendi project team marked a major milestone last week, with the gym space passing its fire test on Tuesday. 🔥

To celebrate, the team put the newly completed gym to good use, hosting a friendly futsal match against our subcontractors at Tyrone Electrical and Integrated One. The BADGE team edged out a 7–5 win, but Project Manager Cameron Logan confirmed the subbies were strong competition!

Project Reveal | Bulla

We’re proud to have delivered Bulla Family Dairy new manufacturing facility in Colac, VIC, a major expansion of their Forest Street site, completed four months ahead of schedule.

From the first footing poured in September 2024 to Practical Completion in August 2025, our team delivered the build in just 11 months. The facility includes two new production lines, with provision for a third, and features a custom-designed refrigeration system and coordinated building services.
We would like to extend our gratitude to those who played pivotal roles throughout this project.

Project Manager, Timothy Tymukas, provided strategic leadership and oversight from inception to completion. He expertly coordinated consultants, subcontractors and Bulla stakeholders, ensuring the project met its scope, budget and program targets consistently. Proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies, Tim maintained strong financial control and fostered a collaborative project environment. His leadership ensured all contractual obligations were fulfilled for the client with transparency and professionalism.

Senior Site Manager, Mick Batson, ensured the smooth ex*****on of daily site operations, driving quality workmanship and upholding strict safety standards. Mick managed sequencing of works to avoid delays, provided solutions to unforeseen challenges and upheld high food and beverage standards of compliance. With a hands-on approach, Mick kept productivity high, reduced disruptions to surrounding operations and cultivated a safe, positive workplace culture.

Finally, A big thank you to our partners Bulla Family Dairy, Alan Grierson, 4Site Design Group , ADP Consulting and Gardener Group for working with us to make this project extra sweet.

The BADGE team welcomed Cardijn College students for an exclusive site tour of the Marian West project which is currently taking shape! Led by Project Manager Justin Browne and Grieve Gillett Architects, students discovered diverse career opportunities in construction beyond the tools.

Here are some reflections from the students:

"I loved it! It was insightful, helped guide my career path, and it was amazing to see the progress."

"It was great to see the space and witness how a design comes to life. It was also helpful to learn about career mobility within the industry."

BADGE is continuing to build tomorrow's workforce today. 🏗️✨

Club 25 recently joined the team at BVW for an eye-opening tour across South East Queensland, showcasing the full manufacturing journey, from aluminium extrusion and glass processing to the assembly of high-performance window and door systems.

We kicked off at Ventora Glass with Kip and Ben walking us through glazing types, acoustic performance and thermal efficiency, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of the factory floor.

At Capral, we explored aluminium dies and watched thermal bridging in action, seeing how insulation is built into the frame.

The day wrapped at BVW, where everything comes together. Thanks to Tristan and the BVW team for the generous tour and valuable knowledge shared!

The Sunshine Coast team wrapped up the financial year with an afternoon of food, fun and reflection.

We kicked things off with pizza and drinks before diving into a round of BADGE Trivia, a “Have You Been Paying Attention?” style game that tested everyone’s knowledge of the past year. Plenty of laughs and a bit of healthy competition made for a fun way to look back on the year that was.

Matt Peters shared a great message, highlighting key wins in budget, productivity, QSE, our people and overall business success. He also gave us a glimpse into the year ahead and what’s on the horizon.

Dan Hinton and Nick Abley rounded out the afternoon with a group-wide update, celebrating what’s been a strong year right across the business.

A big congratulations to our award winners:

🏆 Workplace Health & Safety Award – Justin Campbell
🏆 Client Focus Award – Andrew Hastings

Thanks to the whole Sunshine Coast team for a great afternoon and an even better finish to the year!

Some of our BADGErs recently joined industry peers at the Master Builders WA annual Women Building Australia event, for a morning of knowledge sharing and practical ideas aimed at creating a stronger, more inclusive building and construction sector.

Representing BADGE on the day were Contract Administrator, Ursula O'Neil, Operations Supervisor, Paul Spadanuda, along with Pique Modular Homes' Director, Jessica Berry.

Our team heard from two exceptional keynote speakers, Denita Wawn (CEO, Master Builders Australia) and Liz Ellis AO (Chair, Netball Australia and former elite netballer).

Denita spoke passionately about creating stronger pathways for women in construction, opening entry opportunities and supporting long-term progression. She shared some personal experiences on how to navigate milestones like motherhood or stepping into senior leadership, and encouraged attendees to stay grounded and clear on their purpose.

Liz spoke about leadership and drive, drawing lessons from her sporting career and her life’s motto: “If it is to be, it’s up to me.” Her message centred on self-responsibility, determination, and owning your career direction.

Thanks to Master Builders WA and Women Building Australia for hosting an inspiring and thought-provoking event.

Our Queensland Club 25ers recently visited the Providence Town Centre project in South Ripley to observe a tilt-up panel installation. This project is part of a major Green Star-rated development that includes a new Coles and childcare facility.

The day began with a toolbox talk led by the project team, covering the high-risk elements, staging and detailed pre-planning that made the lift possible.

From there, members watched on as the on-site poured panels were cracked and lifted into place. It was a great chance to see high-risk works in action and better understand the process behind them!

Big thanks to Cameron Pitt, Bernardo Hernando and Lachlan Hoch for their time and insights, and to everyone who joined us on site.
