There’s been some solid growth across the team over the past few months, with both A and B Panels continuing to build strength through training and on-the-job learning.
Recently, several crew members completed their Backhoe tickets and VOCs, and others are progressing through additional quals like TPO, EWP, and supervisory training.
Proud to see our crew stepping forward, picking up new skills, and building capability.

Team spotlight!
Alex Beard joined our team back in August 2023, working on the Gudai-Darri RTIO Project. He was one of our first MC Semi water cart operators—and it quickly became clear he brought more than just solid skills behind the wheel!

Since then, Alex has shown he’s got serious capability across a range of machines - grader, excavator, Posi track, water cart, drum roller, service truck, tipper, you name it. He’s also stepped up as a Panel B Leading Hand and is now completing his Schedule 26 Supervisors course.

On top of that, Alex has a real interest in mechanical repairs and diagnostics, and he’s always willing to share his plant knowledge with the team.

We’re proud to have Alex as part of the Yurala crew!

Throwback to our Borrow Pit Rehabilitation project completed in 2021 🌱

Our team delivered rehabilitation works across multiple sites, including infrastructure removal, re-profiling, deep ripping up to 1m, and re-spreading of topsoil and vegetation.

We also managed dust control, traffic management, and installed approved rehabilitation signage—getting the job done safely and efficiently.
