Have you had a lightning strike close by recently? This was the damage for one recent customer after a lightning strike hit close by on the power lines. These are circuit breaker safety switches. Damage like this means they are not protecting anything, which is dangerous. This is why having a switchboard inspection and safety switch test done by a licenced electrician is a good idea!

Power points may be working 'fine' and look ok, but take care! They can be brittle and fall apart very easily, exposing electrical hazzards.
These powerpoints we recently replaced disintegrated in our hands.

We’re targeting the DIYers who think they can do their own electrical work instead of using a licensed professional.

Whilst this campaign isn’t for our licensed sparkies out there who know what they are doing, if you have friends or families who have the attitude of ‘how hard could it be?!’ feel free to share the clip with them to remind them they should NEVER do their own electrical work, it’s not worth risking their life.
