🌿 Meet Susan 🌿 (the tree)

Susan is a Brachychiton rupestris or Queensland Bottle Tree. Her trunk will get wider over time as she stores water in preparation for any drought that may occur. She’s an Australian Native Beauty.

The handsome standing bloke next to her is Max. Max is one of those people you can’t help but enjoy being around, we had some great laughs together. His beautiful wife’s name is Susan, and after I planted this tree he told me;
‘I love this tree so much, I’m going to name it after my wife, nothing on earth makes me happier than seeing my wife smile and this tree makes her smile’.

Max’s other love is High Pressure Washing anything that will withstand the PSI strength of the Gernie he has out at the time.
‘I have 4 of them’ he would proudly let me know. My one regret on this awesome job was not creating a photo montage of Max pressure washing everything in sight, even in the pouring rain on one occasion.
I caught him eyeing off my dirty legs after a big day a few times.

The world would be a much better place with more Max and Susan’s (both the tree and human variety) 😛
