About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced WHS Administrator to work for a busy company expanding in the civil space. This is a part time position (hours are flexible) for someone who can help us in the office with our WHE,QA and compliance. Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
Some of your responsibilities will include -
• Maintain PPE stock
• Maintain Tagging, Lifting and Vehicle Registers
• Injury and incident register
• SDS Register
• Reporting on any incidents
• First Aid Kit Maintenance
• Assist with tender preparation
• QA on jobs, SWMS,CCEW, JSA's, Risk assessments and NOSW submissions
• IMS review and maintenance - improve current systems
• Maintain staff training
• Take minutes at tool box talks
• Assist with any workers comp claim
• Develop, document and implement WHSE policies and procedures
• Stay up to date on and advise of relevant legislation and requirement
• ISO audit preparation experience
• Ad hoc administration duties
A bit about you –
• Relevant safety qualifications to at least a minimum HSR training, and/ or experience in a WHS role
• Ability to work both as part of a team and with a high level of independence and autonomy when required
• Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
• High level time management skills
• Well-developed administration and computer skills
